All children can learn and many need a customized approach to match their learning styles.  My goal is to identify each child’s unique learning style and interests first.  Then strengths and weaknesses are determined through parent/child interviews and informal assessments.  The final step is to develop a plan of action with input from your child and you, making academic support personal and meaningful.

During each and every session I lay the groundwork to ensure that your child is excited and motivated to learn.

Enrichment is an integral part of my instruction; every child must feel that he or she is walking away with something new, something that they want to explore further, something that truly excites them. This is accomplished along with receiving  a session of academic support.

Professional Experience

Robin Singer is a certified teacher in New Jersey and New York and possesses a Master’s degree in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.  Robin has 24 years of experience educating students from Birth to Adulthood, working in both private and public schools, and one-on-one as a private tutor and educational therapist.  She has also established a literacy program for a public high school and trained graduate students in teaching methods.
